finQbit nominated for the EIT Venture Award 2026

finQbit has been nominated for the EIT Awards 2026 in the Venture Award category, which recognises startups within the EIT Community addressing societal challenges and demonstrating strong growth potential.

We are proud to be among the 19 nominees across this year’s EIT Awards, celebrating entrepreneurs, innovators and teams from across Europe’s innovation ecosystem. For finQbit, the nomination is an encouraging milestone—and a recognition we share with our entire team, partners and supporters.

Bringing quantum innovation closer to financial institutions

finQbit is developing quantum-ready computational infrastructure for financial services, combining high-performance classical computing with emerging quantum approaches to support complex risk modelling, derivatives pricing and large-scale simulations. Our ambition is to connect advances in computing with practical challenges faced by financial institutions.

This nomination gives us further motivation to pursue that ambition: translating research into technology that can be evaluated, developed and adopted as the field matures.

A journey supported by Europe’s innovation community

Our journey has benefited from the connections and opportunities provided through EIT Digital and 28DIGITAL, including access to mentors, investors, corporate partners and deep-tech expertise. These relationships have helped us refine our market positioning and strengthen our commercialisation strategy.

We thank the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and 28DIGITAL for their support, and everyone who has contributed their expertise, time and trust to finQbit’s development.

The winners will be announced at the EIT Awards ceremony on 2 December 2026 in Budapest. We look forward to the next stage and congratulate all fellow nominees.
