Having contributed to projects including BLIK and established teams applying quantum computing to finance, he brings financial-sector experience to building and growing finQbit. Rafał Pracht

Rafał leads the development of finQbit’s quantum algorithms and technology. Graduated in Applications of Quantum Computing at MIT xPRO aand recognised as IBM Qskit Advocates, the group of the finest minds in quantum computing worldwide, he combines quantum software expertise with extensive experience in financial risk systems at Moody’s Analytics, Deloitte and BNP Paribas.

Professor Dariusz Gątarek is a graduate in applied mathematics from the Warsaw University of Technology.He spent twenty years in many financial and advisory institutions such as BRE Bank, Societe Generale, Glencore, UniCredit, Deloitte, and NumeriX, specializing in valuing derivatives and designing risk management systems.Currently, he is working as a professor at the Polish Academy of Sciences.Dariusz has published a number of articles on financial modeling. Michał Studziński is a quantum information expert who received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Gdańsk in 2015. He continued his research at the National Quantum Information Centre in Sopot before joining the University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (2016–2018). He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Gdańsk and, since 2025, Group Leader of Quantum Devices in Computer Science at ICTQT. His work focuses on quantum computing, quantum simulation, programmable quantum devices, quantum communication, and methods for reducing the complexity of quantum information processing, with an emphasis on practical routes toward robust and scalable quantum technologies.

Wojciech Czernous is a mathematician who earned his PhD from the University of Gdańsk. Over two decades he has combined research and teaching at Polish universities with industry work in finance and technology at firms such as Finastra and CAE. His interests span numerical analysis, partial differential equations, random dynamical systems, and mathematical finance, with a focus on stochastic integration. His extensive notes on the general theory of processes in Kallenberg's "Foundations of Modern Probability" later formed the basis of a semester course in Stochastic Integral at the University of Gdańsk in 2025. He is currently contributing to the formalization of the stochastic integral in Lean as part of the Brownian Motion project.

Norbert Chmiel is a software engineer with experience spanning backend development, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, integrations, and automation. He enjoys working close to the business, understanding the problems behind the requirements, and turning them into systems and tools that solve real-world needs. Throughout his career, he has worked across fintech, payments, AI, and other technology-driven domains, often taking ownership across multiple layers of the system. Marek Adamczyk is a theoretical computer scientist and AI expert with a strong background in algorithms, probability, machine learning, and optimization under uncertainty. His research has appeared at leading international computer science conferences including FOCS, ICALP, and AAMAS, with applications ranging from stochastic optimization and mechanism design to machine learning and quantitative problems. Robert Maksymiuk holds an M.Sc. in financial mathematics from the University of Warsaw, with a thesis on the HJM model. For over twenty years he has worked as a derivatives pricing and risk model validation expert for leading financial institutions, including Algorithmics, ABN AMRO, FSA, RBS, Shell Asset Management, ING, Rabobank, Lloyds Banking Group and HSBC, combining quantitative expertise with advanced programming in C++, C# and Python. His work has spanned interest rate, credit, commodity, and equity derivatives, including RFR transition projects, XVA modeling, and market risk methodology, with hands-on experience across industry-standard platforms such as MUREX, Algorithmics, SOPHIS, and the open-source QuantLib library. He also brings strong knowledge of risk analytics, including sensitivities, VaR, CVaR, and CCR. Robert is co-author of the book "The Libor Market Model in Practice" (Wiley Finance, 2007, with D. Gątarek and P. Bachert) and co-author, with D.
