Rafał Pracht

Prominent Quantum Software Engineer and Researcher. Graduated in Applications of Quantum Computing at MIT xPRO and recognised as IBM Qskit Advocates, the group of the finest minds in quantum computing worldwide. Experienced software architect in the financial risk management field for leading institutions such as Moody’s Analytics, Deloitte, and BNP Paribas.

Prof. Dariusz Gątarek

Professor Dariusz Gątarek is a graduate in applied mathematics from the Warsaw University of Technology.He spent twenty years in many financial and advisory institutions such as BRE Bank, Societe Generale, Glencore, UniCredit, Deloitte, and NumeriX, specializing in valuing derivatives and designing risk management systems.Currently, he is working as a professor at the Polish Academy of Sciences.Dariusz has published a number of articles on financial modeling. His paper "The market model of interest rate dynamics", where the LIBOR interest rate model was introduced with Brace and Musiela, is regarded as a classic.He is a frequent speaker at conferences worldwide.

Prof. Michał Studziński

Michał Studziński is a quantum information expert who received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Gdańsk in 2015. He continued his research at the National Quantum Information Centre in Sopot before joining the University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (2016–2018). He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Gdańsk and, since 2025, Group Leader of Quantum Devices in Computer Science at ICTQT. His work focuses on quantum computing, quantum simulation, programmable quantum devices, quantum communication, and methods for reducing the complexity of quantum information processing, with an emphasis on practical routes toward robust and scalable quantum technologies.

PhD Sebastian Zając

Theoretical Physicist and Quantum Machine Learning Engineer, as well as Assistant Professor at the Military University of Technology. He works at the intersection of theoretical physics, quantum information theory, and machine learning, focusing on quantum derivative pricing and exploring the practical boundaries of quantum advantage over classical methods. Holding a PhD in particle physics, he combines academic rigor with hands-on Big Data and MLOps engineering experience gained in corporate environments like PKO BP. This rare blend of deep quantum theory and production engineering enables him to design advanced quantum and ML solutions built for real-world systems.

Krzysztof Kuba

As a CFA® Level II candidate and a candidate member of CFA Society Poland, Krzysztof bridges the gap between finance and quantum computing. PhD Wojciech Czernous

Wojciech Czernous is a mathematician who earned his PhD from the University of Gdańsk. Over two decades he has combined research and teaching at Polish universities with industry work in finance and technology at firms such as Finastra and CAE. His interests span numerical analysis, partial differential equations, random dynamical systems, and mathematical finance, with a focus on stochastic integration. His extensive notes on the general theory of processes in Kallenberg's "Foundations of Modern Probability" later formed the basis of a semester course in Stochastic Integral at the University of Gdańsk in 2025. He is currently contributing to the formalization of the stochastic integral in Lean as part of the Brownian Motion project.

Norbert Chmiel

Norbert Chmiel is a software engineer with experience spanning backend development, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, integrations, and automation. He enjoys working close to the business, understanding the problems behind the requirements, and turning them into systems and tools that solve real-world needs. Throughout his career, he has worked across fintech, payments, AI, and other technology-driven domains, often taking ownership across multiple layers of the system. At finQbit, he works as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure and platform engineering.

Philippe De Brouwer

Philippe is an accomplished executive with over three decades of experience in banking and asset management, currently serving as a Director at HSBC’s European Service Centre, where he oversees critical areas of risk management, model governance, and analytics. Beyond his executive leadership, Philippe has made remarkable academic contributions. He solved the “fallacy of large numbers puzzle” first posed by Nobel laureate P.A. Józef Wancer

Mr Józef Wancer is a graduate of Economics at the City College of New York as well as Management and Interpersonal Relationships at Webster University in Vienna. For nearly 25 years he worked at Citibank as Vice President and senior manager in the USA, Japan, Austria, the United Kingdom and France. In the early 1990s,after a 30-year absence, returned to Poland, as an independent financial consultant, to participate in the transformation of the Polish banking sector. Participated in establishing Citibank in Warsaw, as well as the Bank Rolno-Przemysłowy within the EBRD being the largest investor. Member of the Supervisory Board of Powszechny Bank Kredytowy (PBK). Vice President and President of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Centrobank in Warsaw. From 2000 to 2010 President of the Management Board of Bank BPH. From 2010 to 2013 advisor to the Management Board of Deloitte Poland and from 2011 to 2013 Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Alior Bank. From September 2013 to 31 August 2015 President of the Management Board first of BGŻ S.A. and from 30 April 2015 of BGŻ BNP Paribas. From 1 September 2015 to 30 June 2021 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BNP Paribas Bank Polska . Fom July 2021 Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. Zofia Dzik

Innovator, Strategic Thinker, C-level Executive, CEO of the Humanites Institute – Human & Technology Zofia Dzik is an experienced C-level executive with 30 years of leadership experience and a pioneer of the CEE fintech direct market. She has served for many years on supervisory boards of major companies in Poland and across Europe, including Inter Cars S.A., InPost S.A., CCC S.A., and PKO BP S.A. She is a Member of the Council of Experts of the Supervisory Boards Forum at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and of the Association of Independent Supervisory Board Members. Zbigniew Jagiełło
