We are proud to welcome Dr. Philippe De Brouwer to the Advisory Board of finQbit.
Philippe is an accomplished executive with over three decades of experience in banking and asset management, currently serving as a Director at HSBC’s European Service Centre, where he oversees critical areas of risk management, model governance, and analytics.
Beyond his executive leadership, Philippe has made remarkable academic contributions. He solved the “fallacy of large numbers puzzle” first posed by Nobel laureate P.A. Samuelson, and his doctoral research introduced the Maslowian Portfolio Theory, a breakthrough that challenged and redefined long-standing assumptions in investment theory shaped by H. Markovitz’s Nobel Prize-winning work.
He is also deeply engaged in academia and community:
– Guest lecturer at AGH University of Krakow, University of Warsaw, and Krakow University of Economics
– Honorary Consul of Belgium in Kraków
– Member of multiple councils and advisory bodies shaping education and research in Poland
At finQbit, we are on a mission to transform risk management and finance through quantum computing and advanced technologies. Having Philippe’s vision and expertise on board is an invaluable addition as we scale our innovation and global impact.
