John Martinis awarded the 2025 Noble Prize

CDL Quantum Mentor John Martinis has been awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics for “the discovery of macroscopic quantum mechanical tunnelling and energy quantization in an electric circuit,” alongside John Clarke and Michel Devoret.

Moments like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of the Creative Destruction Lab community.
Being part of the highly selective CDLQuantum program has been a privilege, even more so to learn from brilliant mentors like NobelPrize winner John Martinis. We’re proud to be among the few who made it to graduation!

Congratulations from the entire finQbit team, Professor John Martinis, your groundbreaking work continues to inspire quantum innovators at every corner of the world!
